If you have ever wondered what life would be like without music, you are just like us. We are Real Musicians (REALM) - a non-profit organization that loves music and the people who make it. We are committed to serving the music community by breaking down barriers to music production and distribution. We believe that music is the lifeblood of the soul and a healing force that connects us all. Research indicates that, while music is an effective method of coping for both creators and consumers of music, career musicians are more likely to experience mental health issues such as depression (stemming especially from loneliness and isolation), bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. Our efforts go directly toward helping talented musicians continue to make art that breaks down walls, heals the wounded, and speaks to and inspires people for generations to come.
