About this cause:Show your support for families fighting Hunter Syndrome and support research for a cure. Hunter Syndrome is a rare, genetic disease affecting approximately 1 in 167,000 children. The mutation can occur in any family. It causes progressive mental and physical decline with an average life span of 12-15 years old.
Project Alive (formerly Saving Case & Friends) has been raised funds to support gene therapy, the closest thing to a cure, with the launch of a mini docu-series about Hunter Syndrome families at ProjectAlive.org. Project Alive has received news coverage and celebrity support, but we need everyone's help to spread the word and support this effort!
