About this cause:
Hemophilia is a genetic disease that impacts the body's capacity to control blood clotting or coagulation which are used to to cease bleeding in the body. Hemophilia is more likely to affect men than women. Hemophilia reduces blood plasma clotting capacity. This affects the blood vessel when it becomes injured. With that, a scab that would form in that area which becomes impaired with a person with Hemophilia and the clotting can not happen properly. The bleeding does not cease and a person afflicted with the disease may bleed for days or even weeks.
