He passed away in June 2015 due to complications during his second heart transplant, he was 17 years old. The Wiffle ball tournament is a yearly event held in September to raise funds for the Extraordinary Needs Fund at Boston Children's Hospital. The Extraordinary Needs fund provides financial assistance to families living long term at the hospital with their sick child. The fund provides meal vouchers, parking vouchers, credit card bill assistance and helps with other living expenses at the hospital. We have raising $18,000 during our past two tournaments.
