About this cause:

I am bipolar and most of my mood swings tend to be on the depression side. I also suffer from PTSD from an extremely abusive childhood. You can read my blog about it here : www.tearyourselfintwo.com Lately they have become worse and at times extremely scary. I am afraid that it will get too dark, too bad, that I will have an even harder struggle to recover from my current depressive period. It has affected my life so far as to preventing me from working my job and paying medical bills as well as student loans due to missing work and trying to keep up with initial doctor visits. I also have a cat, Freddie, who relies on me to provide for him. He's also one of my greatest comforts. I want to be me again. I am generally an upbeat, positive and uplifting person and for these past months I have done my best to even leave the house and see friends. I am in the process of finding a new way for my medication to work, change some dosages or try to find something new to compliment the medication we know helps but it takes time and during that time I struggling to keep my life together so I don't lose everything or fall even further behind. I just need to get caught up and it seems impossible.
