Our organization's mission is to help in the research of stillbirth, infant mortality, birth complications, premature births, and to help babies have a healthy start at life. Chase-ing Hope was created after our beloved Chase was stillborn. Chase's mom was 38 1/2 weeks pregnant when she went in for a checkup. Upon arrival to the hospital, she and my brother learned that Chase didn't have a heartbeat and his mom had suffered from a placental abruption. Our charity has held a run/walk for the past three years, making this year the fourth. All proceeds of the run/walk are given to the March of Dimes, our local organization to help babies have a healthy start at life, because all families deserve to take their healthy baby home from the hospital.
