Thunderhawk came into my life in 2002. My husband had just deployed to the middle east and I had 3 children under age 5, one with just diagnoses Asbergers. A stay at home mom trying to get it together and go it alone. This horse was something/someone I had no idea what to do with. Turned out he became my friend, confidant as well as my sons therapy, a boon companion in a year of trials, trauma and early cancer. This horse changed my future, helped start a movement to protect this endangered breed, and changed what I do today.

They say the Spanish Mustang is brave, loyal and fierce.
Thunderhawk helped me be all those things.
