St. Baldrick's Foundation supports Team Z for Phi!
Five years ago when I started running and fundraising for cancer research, I pretty much kinda sorta knew that I would someday "Brave the Shave" for the cause.

In September, 2016 a group of kids at Chiaravalle Montessori School in Evanston IL were involved in planning an amazing St. Baldrick’s event, and had already raised thousands of dollars. They have been such an inspiration for me as they worked tirelessly to honor 4 year old Sophia, a fellow student at the school who has been in treatment for a brain tumor for almost 2 years.

I too joined the team and in October, I shaved my head to raise awareness and to raise funds for childhood cancer research!

The event raised over $45,000 and I am inspired to do more - so that is why I started a Bravelets page for St. Baldrick’s.

Childhood cancers are different from adult cancers, and childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Thank you for your support!
