I was diagnosed at the age of 2 1/2 and I'm still living with this disease. Everyday tasks get harder as it worsens. I try to tell myself that these tears of pain will remind me of my hard work I do to keep active. I'm only 36 years old and I feel like I'm 80. I support this foundation, because there are millions of children, like me, who are diagnosed with this and growing up is hard. It causes deformity that's permanent, your immune system is not doing what it's supposed to and trying to have a limited life to live on certain tasks. So like me, I'm brave everyday and keep going.
