my mountain turns into an anthill
Posted on February 01 2013
On April 7, 2011 I laid on a preop table crying because I had stage one testicular cancer and was about to have an orchiectomy. I did not want to have the surgery, but if I didn’t I would eventually die. I thought that this was one of the worst things that could have happened to me. God however has used this disease and turned it from a mountain into an anthill and even used testicular cancer to better my life. I have met wonderful people who I would never have met. I have received the privilege of being able to encourage people. So yes there is life after cancer, not just surviving but thriving. Not only am I considered in remission, I also have had reconstruction surgery. I beat cancer!
