MY "angels" fighting breast cancer for the 3rd time

Posted on September 13 2015

The day your loved one receives a cancer diagnosis, your entire families world changes. You immediately think of the years you may lose with your loved one and of the heavy burdens they must now bear.

God created angels with one purpose in mind, to guide and protect us during our difficult times. Angels are not always spirits, you see, they can be people like you who help others in need. They stop what they're doing and take time to send you an encouraging text, a hug when you need it or give you motivation to keep going when you just want to stop, give up and hide.

Colleen and Jim are MY "angels" and helped me more than they ever could imagine. Their positive attitude, humbleness, strength and never ending love have inspired me and kept me going over the past few years while I struggled with my own health issues.

I am walking and fundraising for Susan G. Komen Dallas/Ft. Worth 3Day in honor of my sister-in-law Colleen, who is fighting breast cancer for the 3rd time. I can never say thank you enough for helping me through my darkest days. I love you both from the bottom of my heart and I will never stop walking or fighting until Cancer has a cure.
