Connor is a 9 yr old boy who has Accute Lymphobastic Leukemia.
He is in a study right now that has him in the lowest of 4 different chemo dosages. He goes for spinal taps with chemo and iv chemo 1x every 3 months along with 1 weeks worth of steroids every 3 months and receives a nightly dose of oral chemo for the next 2+ yrs.
the nightly chemo has caused issues with his liver so they have reduced the dosage to half dose.
I feel that Conner is a Hero in my eyes...he has endured so much and yet everytime I see him he is always smiling and excited about something he did that day..he participates in several sports/activities and other even though there are days when he is not at his best he still does what some of us wouldn't even attempt if we were sick...gotta love a kid like that.
