Emily Stansell - Childhood Cancer Survivor
Posted on July 02 2015
My name is Emily and when I was 11, I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor the day after Christmas if 2012, (medulloblastoma). I underwent six weeks of combined chemo and radiation, five days a week. I then received six months of in-patient chemo. I finished treatment on September 8th, 2013, and have shown no evidence of disease since then. I still undergo MRI's and bloodwork every three months. I give all the glory for my healing to God. Thank you for your help in supporting me to help raise money for childhood cancer research. $10 of each purchase will go to St. Baldrick's. I hope we can do enough good so that no child ever again has to hear those terrible words, "You have cancer."
