Clarabell was brought to Warrick County Animal Control after she was found as a stray. Since the animal control facility has zero funding for medical care Warrick Animal Guardians took care of getting her to the veterinarian ASAP. The vet office they use said "she has a lot of swelling on her face from edema (fluid in skin) and infection (skin around lips, eyes, salivary glands, etc.), lymph nodes swollen, fever, umbilical hernia, belly rounded from intestinal parasites, etc. I don't know where she has been, but it looks like out in the elements on these cold nights. After pain medication/antiinflammatory kicked in, she perked up and started on antibiotics. Little girl was very hungry and thirsty. After that she curled up and fell asleep. She's staying with us overnight." Thankfully Warrick Animal Guardians was there to help give this poor girl some relief! She was soon placed into a No-Kill rescue and adopted after she was healed and spayed!
